Camp Info
Camp Lutherwood is an Outdoor Ministry of the Lutheran Congregations of Oregon and Southwest Washington. We serve the congregations in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and other Lutheran congregations. We are a not-for-profit organization committed to serving people of all ages through our staff, our programs, and our facilities. All are welcome to participate in our ministry.
Driving Directions
Camp Lutherwood is located 15 miles west of Hwy.99 at Junction City. We are on Hwy. 36 at mile post #37.
Coming from Portland or North
Map Quest sends you through Corvallis which also works but we recomend these
directions:
From Portland head south on I-5. Take exit #209 west to Harrisburg - Junction
City. You will wind through Harrisburg but follow signs to Hwy 99. Go left or
South on Hwy 99 and continue to Junction City. Just after going through Junction
City, look for a stoplight and Hwy 36 is a right turn. Follow Hwy 36 for about
15 miles and look for Lutherwood on your left at mile marker 37.
From Eugene and points South
The exit off I-5 is listed a little incorrectly on Map Quest and you can follow these directions to save 10 miles.
From I-5 traveling North to Eugene. Take the Beltline exit #195 west towards Junction City. From the Beltline, take exit #6 which is the Hwy 99 Junction City exit. Off the exit, turn left or north onto Hwy 99. At the first stoplight, turn left onto Clear Lake Road. Stay on this road past Fern Ridge Lake and go straight through the stop sign at Territorial Hwy. Without you knowing it, the road will become Lawrence Rd. Just stay on the road and the road will dead end at Hwy 36. Go left on Hwy 36 and Lutherwood is on your left after five miles at mile marker 37.
